Fine Motor Activity - Animal Rescue
Hide your plastic animals in a tray or container and cover them with tape. Then have your child 'rescue' them! We've used pom poms in this picture, cut replace them with any animal figuirines you have. These toddler friendly tongs are great for this activity.

Sensory Play - Ice Skating Animals
This activity takes a bit of prep (the day before) but doesn't require too many items. Freeze your favorite animal toys and have them 'ice skate' around. You can see how to set this up HERE.

Pretend Play - Set up a Pet Store / Animal Rescue
Now is the time to get out the stuffed animals. Use them to set up your own pet store/animal rescue or even a zoo!

It's time to get out the farm animals and make your own farm sensory bin! You can keep it simple with some oats or sand and add in your farm toys.

Sensory Play - Wash the Animals!
Get out your plastic animals and let's give them a wash! Add them to a bucket of soapy water and place a towel next to them for them to dry. This is ALWAYS a popular activity.
