OUTDOOR ACTIVITY - SHADOW DRAWING

Go outside and explore the shadows that the sun makes. Can find your shadow? What other shadows can you see? Can you draw the shadows of your toys?

CRAFT - Paper Plate Umbrella

Make your own umbrella using a paper plate and a craft stick. You can use finger painting, dot markers, circle stickers or plain old coloring in to decorate your umbrella!

OUTDOOR PLAY - PLAYING IN THE RAIN

If you're lucky enough to get some rain this week, get out the umbrellas and go for a walk or play in the rain. No real rain? Get the umbrellas out anyway and use the hose to 'make rain'.

CRAFT - Cloud Painting

This is a really easy cloud painting idea. Paint a cloud with gray paint (you could use cotton buds to create texture too) and then have an adult add the blue frams (cut out from construction paper).

OUTDOOR ACTIVITY

Go outside and look at the clouds. If possible lay on a towel or blanket and describe what you see. Do any of the clouds look like anything? Come back home and draw the clouds that you saw.

CRAFT - Wind socks

Explore the wind by making these fun wind socks. Decorate a cardboard tube with stickers or paint. Glue strips of crepe/tissue paper to the inside and then watch what happens when the wind blows!
