CRAFT - Easy Apple Collage Craft
Michelle shared this fun and easy apple collage craft.
Simply cut out an apple shape and use red or green scrap paper to make a collage. Remember that it's always easier with younger toddlers to put the glue all over the picture first (I always use THESE glue sticks) and then all they need to do is stick the paper on.
Let your toddler rip up the paper themselves if they can, as this is a great fine motor activity.

SENSORY BIN - Apple Pie Sensory Bin
Make an Apple Pie themed sensory bin! This idea was from Pinterest and uses oats, pretend play apples, foil pie trays, and cinamon sticks. You can add in measuring cups and scoops. This is a great sensory and pretend play ideas in one!

Song/Dance: 5 Apples in the Apple Tree
CRAFT - Make your Own Apple Tree!
We're going to use paper plates to make a fun apple tree craft.
Trace your child's arm and hand on brown construction paper to make tree. Use green squares of construction paper to make the leaves and you red circles to make apples!

REAL LIFE ACTIVITY - Apple Shopping & Tasting
This theme is a great opportunity for some 'real life' activites. Why not take your toddler to the grocery store or farmer's market and pick out some apples. Talk about the different types.
- What colors are the apples?
- What sizes are the apples?
- Do you think all the apples will taste the same?
Buy a few varieties of apples - especially different colored ones - and then do an apple tasting at home.
APPLES - Day 5
Book: Apple Farmer Annie

Available on Amazon HERE or watch a read aloud on Youtube HERE.
Song/Dance - Apple Round, Apple Red
Craft - Apple Suncatcher Craft
This fun and easy suncatcher apple craft makes a great display when stuck on a window that gets a lot of sunlight. You can find the instructions for the apple suncatcher HERE.

GAME - Apple Throw!
I LOVE this simple apple themed game. It's a great way to focus on the basic gross motor skills of throwing. Use a hoop (or go outside and draw a circle using chalk) to create the apple and use beanbags to throw into the circle.
See how many 'apples' you can get in the circle. Make it harder by moving further away.
