Sensory Play - Make a Thanksgiving Sensory Bin
Brittany shared her Thanksgiving themed sensory bin with us. She used colored chickpeas but I would reccomend using items that won't pose a choking hazard like cereal or colored rice.
Then add some scoops or cups and you've got yourself a fun toddler sensory bin.

Get your child moving to some kid friendly thanksgiving themed yoga!

Song/Dance: Turkey Stop
CRAFT - Paper Plate Turkey Craft
There are so many fun ways to make turkey crafts (see a huge selection of turkey craft ideas HERE) and we love these ones shared by Laura. Simply cut a paper plate in half, use construction paper to create a simple turkey and add your decoration. What would you use to decorate your turkey?

Sensory Play - Play Dough Turkeys
I love this idea from MamaPapaBubba - set up a playdough turkey tray! There are so many different things you could add to your turkey tray. See the full instructions HERE.

Pretend Play - Set up a Thanksgiving Dinner
Get out the plastic plates and pretend food and have a pretend play thanksgiving dinner! If you have a play kitchen, pretend to cook the dinner too!

Available on Amazon HERE or watch a Read Aloud on Youtube HERE.
Song/Dance: The Pumpkin Pie Song
Fine Motor Activity - Rescue the Feathers!
You don't need to make yours as big as this, but this is a great fine motor activity. Place mixed feathers on a tray (you can buy craft feathers like these HERE), cover with masking tape and use tweezers or tongs to 'rescue' them. I always love to recommend THIS Fine Motor pack which includes a great set of toddler friendly tweezers.

Craft - Paper Plate Pumpkin Pie
We love paper plate crafts and this pumpkin pie one is EASY! You can get the full instructions HERE.
