It's Planes Week! Another fun week of toddler activities - this time with a Plane theme. This is part of our weekly activity guide series to teach toddlers in a fun and play based way.

Each day we have a book to read (or a read aloud to watch if you don't have a copy, a song or dance to enjoy and 2-3 themed activities.
We would love you to join us in our Weekly Themed Facebook Group to share your jungle themed activities and also to share your pics over on Instagram (follow @myboredtoddler and use #myboredtoddler so we can share our favorites!).
Catch up on last week' Camping theme HERE or you can find all of our previous topics HERE.

Pretend Play
Pack your bags and pretend to go on a holiday. Take out a suitcase or bag and let your toddler 'pack' for their holidays. My girls loved putting their stuffed toys into their bags and wheeling them around the house.
You can even put on youtube videos of planes taking off and landing (I found a good one HERE) for added effect!

What is it like going on a plane for the first time? Follow Maisy's journey and find out.

It's time to get out the paper and make your own paper planes! Depending on the age of your child you can make them for them and they throw them, but try to let them help you.
