It's Camping week! Another fun week of toddler activities - this time with a Camping theme. This is part of our weekly activity guide series to teach toddlers in a fun and play based way.

Each day we have a book to read (or a read aloud to watch if you don't have a copy, a song or dance to enjoy and 2-3 themed activities.
We would love you to join us in our Weekly Themed Facebook Group to share your jungle themed activities and also to share your pics over on Instagram (follow @myboredtoddler and use #myboredtoddler so we can share our favorites!).
Catch up on last week' Space theme HERE or you can find all of our previous topics HERE.
Want to take your Camping theme to the next level - we have our Camping Printable Pack on sale for only $5 this week!

Have a camping picnic! If you can, try to go to a park for a picnic, but outside in the yard works too. No yard? Have a picnic in the lounge room! Get out a picnic rug, basket and make some cute picnic snacks!

Join the wiggles as they sing and do the actions to this classic nursery rhyme.
Craft - Marshmallow Painting
You can't go camping without marshmallows so why not use them to paint with! We love this idea from MyMommyStyle - use a stick to 'paint' with your marshmallow. Normal poster paint works well for this. You can see the full instructions HERE.

Ok, so this may only be an Australian camping tradition, but it's such a fun one! Damper is a type of bread and it's really easy to make with kids. I love THIS kid friendly kid recipe.

Song/Dance: The Bear Went Over the Mountain
What did he see?
You don't have to actually be camping to pretend that you are - go for a walk around your local park (or yard) and see what nature items you can find to make a collage. See how to make your collage HERE.

Prented Play - Build a Fort or Tent!
It's time to go camping at home! If you have access to tent or fort you could set it up outside but otherwise it's time to build a fort and pretend you are camping! Get a pillow and sleeping bag (or blanket) and set up your bed too!
Outdoor Play - Go on a Nature Scavenger Hunt
Pretend you are camping and see if you can find some natural items in your yard or local park. Georgie shared this idea with us - all you need is an egg carton.
