Christmas characters like Santa and the reindeer are traditionally well-known with kids of all ages. But there are lots of other fun images making an impression for the holidays.
One of the more recent characters to become a loveable Christmas icon is the gnome.
Kids can enjoy decorating the tree with playful gnomes in this easy clothespin Christmas craft.
Clothespin Gnomes Christmas Decorations
The gnome is one of the cutest characters to be seen around Christmas time. Crafts and décor featuring this fun character are everywhere!
Popular characters, such as movie characters and storybook characters, are often represented during the holidays.
They appear as images on toys and packaging, wearing Santa hats or sprigs of holly, riding on sleds, or carrying presents.
But the gnome is certainly a favorite at this time of year.
This simple clothespin craft incorporates the gnome character with creative, fine motor activity.

Gnome stickers or cut-outs

- Or cut out gnome figures from packaging or ads.
Instructions
Paint the clothespins red and green.
- Clip one clothespin onto another to hold it in place while your toddler paints.
