Bright Star Kids Review & Giveaway

When Bright Star Kids asked me if I would like to review the Skip Hop Butterfly Backpack, I couldn't say no. Why would I? When it arrived a few days later my daughters thought I was the best Mum ever for getting them a butterfly backpack. It also coincided with them both having a great week, behaviour wise, and they were convinced this was their reward (great!).

With my daughters enthusiasm towards this new bag, it worked out well that I loved it too. Previously we've used a really small backpack (where it looked cute but you were lucky if you could fit in 1 nappy and a couple of grapes), that wasn't very practical. I still ended up having to carry it, and I still needed to bring a nappy bag as well. We then moved onto a larger back pack and had the opposite problem. It was way too big for a toddler to wear, and if you filled it up it would weigh a tonne!

The Hop Skip backpack is a perfect toddler size. There's enough room to fit a lunch box, drink, nappies, wipes and a hat, with room left over to throw in my purse and phone if I don't want to take a handbag. For the independent toddler who wants to 'carry it themselves' it's perfect! There's room on the side to easily fit a drink bottle as well.

This backpack definitely got the thumbs up from my two girls, and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a new toddler backpack. There are lots of other super cute designs to choose from as well, and most of them also have a matching lunch box available for purchase too!
